As the President of Sustainable Future Fusion (SFF) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), I am honoured to reflect on one of the most significant milestones of our journey so far—the official signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) that strengthen our commitment to sustainability, creativity, and social impact.
Recently, APU signed:
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak Tuanku Bainun (PKKTB)
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kelab Soroptimist Antarabangsa Shah Alam Selangor (SISA)
Renewing a Meaningful Partnership with PKKTB
Our partnership with PKKTB dates back to the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), which laid the foundation for joint community initiatives involving creative expression and environmental awareness among children. Now, with the signing of a new MoU, we have officially renewed and expanded this collaboration, with the shared goal of bringing impactful programs to a broader audience.
PKKTB has been instrumental in providing a creative and inclusive platform for children to explore their potential. Through this renewed collaboration, we aim to launch interactive workshops, sustainability-themed art projects, and outreach programs that engage both university students and the younger generation in meaningful ways.
Building a New Chapter with SISA
We are equally excited about the formalization of our partnership with Kelab Soroptimist Antarabangsa Shah Alam Selangor (SISA). SISA has been a strong advocate for women empowerment, education, and sustainable development. Prior to the signing, SISA has actively supported several of our initiatives, including the Community Clean-Up Drive and Terrarium Workshop for Seniors, both of which were designed and executed with the support of our passionate SFF members.
Now, with the MoU in place, we look forward to scaling up our efforts in community service, women empowerment, and environmental education. This collaboration opens doors for long-term joint initiatives that promote capacity building, leadership development, and intergenerational learning.
A Proud Moment for SFF and APU
As someone who has been deeply involved in initiating and coordinating these partnerships, I view this as more than a formal milestone—this is a testament to what passionate students, forward-thinking institutions, and committed partners can achieve together.
This achievement is not mine alone, but shared with the dedicated SFF committee members, APU management, our advisors, and our supportive external partners at PKKTB and SISA. I would also like to express sincere appreciation to our advisors and collaborators who made this possible through their guidance and trust.
At SFF, we believe in the power of collaborative leadership and purposeful action. These partnerships allow us to further amplify our impact and champion causes that truly matter.
Together, let us continue working toward a sustainable and inclusive future—one initiative at a time.
